" I Live, yet not I
"
The attitude of the Christian toward the unsaved should never be one of judgment because of his sins. We must go after such people with the flame of Calvary love and with the message of deliverance, never shocked or deterred by the depths of sin that we find revealed. We have only to look within our own hearts to see the potential of it there, but for Gods grace. Ours is the privilege of proclaiming deliverance even from a perversion of this character.
What is the word of the cross in your life and mine? It is power through weakness, life through death, resurrection through crucifixion. What does that involve in terms of personal experience? How can you make contact with that word of the cross? It is only when you get to the end of every attempt to do anything without Jesus Christ, when you lay aside your ambitions, crucify your prejudices, die to your so-called intellectual approach, and humble your pride that you can look up into His lovely face and say, "Lord Jesus, I live, yet not I
" (Galatians 2:20)
Power through weakness -
Resurrection through crucifixion,
An influence far greater than we;
We will survive cause our quest is won
Through Christ, and we in He.
